Section 309 Assessment and Strategy

MDMR's Office of Coastal Resources Management is seeking public comment on its Section 309 Assessment and Five-Year Strategy document for the Coastal Zone Management Program Enhancement Cycle for Fiscal Year 2016-2020.

The CRM office is seeking input on the effectiveness of its current coastal management efforts, as well as input to identify priority needs and opportunities for program enhancement. This input would ultimately result in program changes in the following areas: wetlands, coastal hazards, public access, marine debris, cumulative and secondary impacts, special area management planning, ocean/great lake resources, energy and government, facility siting and aquaculture.

Written comments must be received by the MDMR Coastal Resources Management Office at the above address on or before May 28, 2015. Comments should be labeled "Attention: OCRM."
