Application by City of D’Iberville

The City of D’Iberville has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to reshape 110 linear feet of eroded riverbank that runs below the north bridge abutment where Lamed Bridge Road crosses the Tchoutacabouffa River with approximately 450 cubic yards of material to re-establish the original slope of the riverbank. Then, the installation of riprap material will be placed to protect the re-established slope of river from future erosion during flood events. Lastly, a concrete grout slurry will be placed to secure the riprap material in place. The project will take place in D’Iberville, Harrison County, Mississippi.
