The Hancock County Board of Supervisors has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.
The applicant is requesting to replace an existing box culvert 64 feet in length, 4 feet in width, and 8 feet in height with wing walls in kind due to flood damage along an unnamed tributary to Catahoula Creek at Preacher Powell Road in Carriere, Hancock County, MS.
