Application by Jackson Co Board of Supervisors to dredge a canal near La Cala St and Cerro Verde Dr in St Martin, MS

Jackson County Board of Supervisors has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to dredge approximately 8250 cubic yards of material from a canal near La Cala St. and Cerro Verde Dr. in St. Martin, Mississippi. Approximately 5350 cubic yards would be removed from Public Trust Tidelands and would be subject to beneficial use of dredged material requirements under MS Code 49-27-61.
