Kiln Utility and Fire District has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to temporarily impact 0.154 acres of non-tidal wetlands and 5 linear feet of stream by open cut trenching to install waterlines within existing public road right-of-ways along Fenton Dedeaux Rd, Firetower Rd, and Dogpatch Rd in Kiln, Hancock County, MS.
