Application by Lolly Rash to install breakwaters and plant native vegetation to create a living shoreline on the MS Sound in Gautier, Jackson Co

Lolly Rash has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to construct a living shoreline to prevent erosion and reinforce the shoreline through the planting of native marsh vegetation and installation of five riprap breakwaters each 30 feet in length.
