Marques Thomas has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.
The applicant is proposing to fill 0.24 acres of non-tidal wetlands, build a retaining wall to contain proposed fill, build a boathouse 40 feet long and 20 feet wide, build an access pier 45 feet long and 6 feet wide, and remove debris in the form of a derelict bulkhead on an unnamed inlet of Old Fort Bayou near Shore Dr, St. Martin, Jackson County, Mississippi.
