Application by Miranda Gibson to collect sediment core samples to conduct research on sea anemones in the Grand Bay NERR, Jackson Co

Ms. Miranda Gibson has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to collect starlet sea anemone (Nematostella vectensis) specimen from sediment cores within the Grand Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Jackson County to study population genetics. View the full application at the link(s) below.
