Application by MS Dept of Marine Resources to perform maintenance on Gene Taylor reef, MS Sound, Hancock Co

The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources Artificial Reef Bureau has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to maintain the Gene Taylor Key reef located approximately 330 feet west of Square Handkerchief Shoal, approximately 3 miles south of St. Louis Bay, Hancock County, Mississippi Sound, MS. View the full application at the link(s) below.
