Application by Robert Meeks to install riprap and plant native marsh vegetation as a living shoreline near Belle Fontaine Dr, Ocean Springs, Jackson Co

Robert Meeks has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to construct a living shoreline to protect the property from future erosion and reduce water inundation through the planting of native marsh vegetation and the installation of four rip rap breakwaters each 22 feet in length.
