Shell Offshore Inc. has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.
The applicant is proposing an Initial DOCD (DOCD/Plan) for Mississippi Canyon (MC) Block 525 and Mississippi Canyon Block 569, OCS-G 31507 and OCS-G 31513, Gulf of Mexico, respectively. These leases are part of the Rydberg Unit Contract No. 754317003. The Unit consists of G31507, G31513, G33161, and G33163. This plan is requesting to install manifold, jumpers and commence production of 4 subsea wells: F, F Alt-1, G and G Alt-1. The wells were covered for drilling/completion operations in SEP S-8095. The flowline will be a right-of-way and will be addressed outside the scope of the DOCD. This will be a subsea tie-back to the Appomattox host. The wells will be covered for future well work.
