Notice is given to mariners that Mike Hooks LLC cutterhead Dredge E. Stroud will begin maintenance dredging operations in the Biloxi Harbor on or around 17 December 2025. Dredging operations will be located in the Mississippi Sound portion of the Biloxi Harbor navigation channel north of the intersection of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW). The dredge will be placing material in approved open-water placement sites located west of the navigation channel. Dredging activities are expected to continue for approximately one month. The dredge can be contacted on VHF Channels 13 and 16.
Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting these areas.
