NOTICE OF DERELICT VESSEL PROCEEDINGS TO CHRISTOPHER MYERS AND ALL UNKNOWN PERSONS CLAIMING ANY RIGHT, TITLE OR INTEREST IN THE FOLLOWING VESSEL:
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) has determined that the vessel described below constitutes a derelict vessel pursuant to Miss. Code Ann. §49-27-71.
You must submit a Removal Plan to the MDMR no later than July 31, 2026, outlining your plan for removing the vessel from its current location no later than August 14, 2026. The information contained in the attached guidelines must be included in the Removal Plan.
VESSEL DESCRIPTION: an 8 ft, fiberglass, red & white sea doo jet ski, sunken condition
VESSEL LOCATION: Bayou Caddy, Hancock County, MS, Lat/Long: 30*14.605 / 089*26.654
VESSEL REGISTRATION: LA 6704 FX
LAST KNOWN VESSEL OWNER(S): Christopher Myers
If you fail to submit a removal plan and remove the vessel by the dates indicated above, the MDMR will initiate proceedings in the Chancery Court seeking all costs of removal, which may include the following as well as other expenses: the cost of destruction, damages in the amount of $500.00 per day, and court costs.

You are responsible for obtaining all required permits prior to removing or having the vessel removed.
