Marine Patrol, MDWFP searching for individual on Tchoutacabouffa River

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources and Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks are actively searching the Tchoutacabouffa River for an individual who went under water and did not resurface earlier today.

 

The incident occurred behind Arbor Landing on the River apartments at 1850 Popps Ferry Road in Biloxi. Boaters, kayakers and others are urged to use caution while in the river system.

 

MDWFP Captain Barry Delcambre urges the public to never feed alligators or disturb their natural habitat. If an alligator is seen with aggressive behavior, contact MDWFP immediately.
