BILOXI, Miss. – Officials with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources arrested Joey Jason Holliman on Thursday night for cyberstalking a Marine Patrol officer. Holliman was arrested without incident at his home in McHenry and was brought to the Jackson County jail where his bond was set at $2,500. The Stone County Sheriff’s Office assisted MDMR. Law enforcement officers throughout the Coast searched for Holliman on Thursday after he threatened Marine Patrol Officer Michael Strickland on Facebook. Strickland had stopped Holliman for traffic violations in Jackson County on Wednesday. Marine Patrol Chief Keith Davis said his office received several tips about Holliman’s post, which led to the search and his arrest.
