BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified two state saltwater fishing records for the month of January.
For conventional tackle, Vince Wray of Vancleave set the record for Common Snook (Centropomus undecimalis) with a fish weighing 15.36 ounces.
For youth conventional tackle, Zachary Broussard, 11, of Biloxi set the record for Common Snook (Centropomus undecimalis) with a fish weighing 8.96 ounces.
