MDMR certifies state saltwater finfish records for June

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified two state saltwater fishing records for the month of June.

 

Nathan Bosarge of Biloxi set the all tackle record for Golden Tilefish (Lopholatilus chamaeleonticeps) with a fish weighing 23 pounds, 3.2 ounces.

 

Using a spear, Mark Kleinpeter of Gautier set the all tackle record for Permit (Trachinotus falcatus) with a fish weighing 11 pounds, 11.2 ounces.
