Oyster Council to present final report to Gov. Phil Bryant

BILOXI, Miss. – The Governor’s Oyster Council on Restoration and Resiliency will present its final report to Gov. Phil Bryant at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum.

 

In February, Gov. Bryant signed the Executive Order creating the Council, which was made up of three committees: Oysters in the Economy, Oysters in the Environment and Aquaculture and Emerging Technologies. The committees met on a regular basis to make recommendations to improve the oyster industry in Mississippi.

 

The presentation will be held in the Mississippi Sound Visitors Center at the Ohr-O’Keefe Museum.
