The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has filed notice of a proposed project which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.
The applicant is proposing to complete design and construction of an approximate 3.54-acre detention pond with an overflow structure and spillway. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the stormwater infrastructure managed by Jackson County.
