Proposed Gulf of America Region Oil and Gas Lease Sale 262 by the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management has filed notice of a proposed action which requires review by the MS Department of Marine Resources to ensure compliance with the state’s approved Coastal Program under the Coastal Zone Management Act.

The applicant is proposing to lease approximately 14,937 available blocks (80 million acres) in the Gulf of America Offshore Continental Shelf Region for the purposes of oil and gas exploration and production. View the full application at the link(s) below.
