Shrimp season to close south of Intracoastal Waterway

BILOXI, Miss. – Officials with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources announced Thursday that the 2014-2015 shrimp season will close at 12:01 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2015.

This applies to shrimping in all Mississippi territorial waters south of the Intracoastal. Mississippi territorial waters will remain open to live bait shrimping.
