Shrimping waters south of ICW to remain open through May 15

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is extending shrimping season until 6 a.m. Sunday, May 15.
This applies to Mississippi territorial waters south of the Intracoastal Waterway.
All rules set forth in regulations of the MDMR are in effect, and all boats engaged in catching or transporting shrimp in or from Mississippi waters must be legally licensed. All other Mississippi territorial waters will remain closed to shrimping.
