CMR Certifies Two New State Saltwater Fishing Records

BILOXI, Miss. – Two Coast anglers recently set new Mississippi recreational saltwater conventional tackle records for Bigeye Tuna and Creolefish. The Commission on Marine Resources certified the records during its June 21 meeting.

 

Stacy Combs of D’Iberville set the record with a 92-pound, 2.88-ounce Bigeye Tuna on May 11, 2011.

 

Cecily O’Brien of Pascagoula set the record with a 1-pound, 8.69-ounce Creolefish on May 8, 2011.
