Under the authority of Mississippi Code Ann. § 49-15-15, the Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources does hereby order that:
The commercial season for Sharks (Aggregated Large Coastal, Hammerheads, Black Tips, and Small Coastals) shall open in Mississippi territorial waters at 12:01 a.m. local time, on January 1, 2022. The state season shall run concurrent with the federal shark season in the Western Gulf of Mexico Sub-Region.
