BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources on Tuesday certified a state fish record for Southern Hake (Urophycis floridana).
The record was established by Jim Smith of Ocean Springs, who caught a 1-pound, 0-ounce fish using conventional tackle.
