BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified a youth state fishing record using conventional tackle for the month of January.
Margaret Schindler, 14, of Diamondhead set the record for Silver Perch (Bairdiella chrysoura) with a fish weighing 3.2 ounces.
