PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources will sell commercial fishing licenses in Pass Christian beginning Wednesday, April 19.
Marine Patrol officers will be at MDMR’s oyster check station in the Pass Christian Harbor from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each Wednesday and Friday through June 2.
Fishermen wanting to purchase a commercial license should bring their boat registration and driver’s license.
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is dedicated to enhancing, protecting and conserving marine interests of the state by managing all marine life, public trust wetlands, adjacent uplands and waterfront areas to provide for the optimal commercial, recreational, educational and economic uses of these resources consistent with environmental concerns and social changes.
