BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources has announced the closing of Area II “A” Conditionally Approved Waters to the harvest of oysters, effective immediately, due to the Pearl River exceeding the water quality management plan criteria for this area.
- Area II “A” Conditionally Approved Waters (closing) – includes northern portions of the Pass Christian and Henderson Points reefs and Hornets Reef.
