BILOXI, Miss. – The state Commission on Marine Resources on Tuesday approved a new state record for the Finetooth Shark.
Shiloh Turner of Bentonia, Miss., caught the fish, which weighed 46 pounds, 10.4 ounces. The previous record was 34 pounds, 8.64 ounces, which was set in July 2016.
