CMR certifies state record for Sand Perch

BILOXI, Miss. –The Commission on Marine Resources approved a conventional tackle state record, as well as youth division record, for Sand Perch (Diplectrum formosum) on March 19.

Julien Barr, 8, of Petal set the record with a fish that weighed 2.4 ounces.
