GULFPORT HARBOR DREDGING OPERATIONS (Mississippi Sound)

Notice is given to mariners that Mike Hooks LLC cutterhead Dredge Missouri H. will begin maintenance dredging operations on or around 12 March 2025. Dredging operations will begin in the Mississippi Sound portion of the Gulfport Harbor south of the intersection of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW). The dredge will be placing material in approved open-water placement sites located west of the channel. Dredging activities are expected to continue for approximately two months. The dredge can be contacted on VHF Channels 13 and 16.
