GULFPORT, MISSISSIPPI – Dredging Operations

Notice is given to mariners the Mike Hooks, LLC cutterhead-pipeline dredge E. Stroud will begin maintenance dredging operations in the Gulfport Sound Channel on or around 10 January 2026. The dredge will be pumping material into approved open-water placement sites located adjacent to the channel. Dredging activities are expected to continue for approximately two months. The dredge can be contacted on VHF Channels 13 and 16.

Mariners should exercise extreme caution when transiting this area.
