BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified a conventional tackle state saltwater fishing record for the month of August.
Brandon Hogue of Kiln set the record for Conger Eel (Conger oceanicus) with a fish weighing 30 pounds, 2.24 ounces.
