BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified an all tackle state saltwater fishing record for the month of June.
Using a spear, Tim Shivers of Ocean Springs set the record for Almaco Jack (Seriola rivoliana) with a fish weighing 40 pounds, 15.2 ounces.
