BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified an all tackle state saltwater fishing record for the month of May.
Using an electric reel, Joseph Hoang of Biloxi set the record for Vermilion Snapper (Rhomboplites aurorubens) with a fish weighing 6 pounds, 9.6 ounces.
