MDMR certifies two youth state records

BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources certified two youth division state fishing records in August.

 

Rodie Armes of Pass Christian set the record using conventional tackle for Leatherjacket (Oligoplites saurus) with a fish weighing 2.4 ounces. Armes also set the fly fishing record for Ladyfish (Elops saurus) with a fish weighing 2 pounds, 7.68 ounces.
