BILOXI, Miss. – The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources (MDMR) will host a shark identification and safe handling workshop Tuesday, March 10, at 9 a.m. in the Bolton Building, located at 1141 Bayview Ave. in Biloxi.
Mississippi residential commercial fishermen who wish to participate in the 2020 commercial shark season in Mississippi territorial waters must possess a fishing boat or a hook and line commercial fishing license, along with a Commercial Shark Endorsement, which can be obtained from MDMR. The fee for the Commercial Shark Endorsement is $10.
