Order Closing Area V “C” Approved Waters to the Harvest of Off-Bottom Oyster Aquaculture

In accordance with administrative law Title 22, Part 1, the Office of Marine Fisheries Director at the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources hereby orders a precautionary closure of the following area to the harvest of oysters effective, Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., due to excessive localized rainfall.

Area V “C” Approved – This area includes the Oyster Aquaculture Park South of Deer Island.
