CMR certifies two state fishing records

BILOXI, Miss. – The state Commission on Marine Resources on Tuesday certified two state fishing records.

 

C. Brennan Sanders of Diamondhead set the record for Inshore Lizardfish (Synodus foetenswith a fish weighing 5.5 ounces using conventional tackle.

 

Reagan McGarvey, 9, of Flower Mound, Texas, set a youth record using conventional tackle for Gulf Kingfish (Menticirrhus littoraliswith a fish weighing 1 pound, 8.72 ounces.
