BILOXI, Miss. – During a special session called by the Mississippi Advisory Commission on Marine Resources Friday, Nov. 12, the commission voted to cancel its monthly meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 16. Agenda items from the November meeting have been moved to the December meeting.
In addition to canceling the November meeting, the commission voted to move the December monthly meeting to Tuesday, Dec., 14, 2021. This meeting will be held at 9 a.m. at the Bolton State Building in the first-floor auditorium.
The Mississippi Department of Marine Resources is dedicated to enhancing, protecting and conserving marine interests of the state by managing all marine life, public trust wetlands, adjacent uplands and waterfront areas to provide for the optimal commercial, recreational, educational and economic uses of these resources consistent with environmental concerns and social changes.
